Selecting sports rules

For some sports bookmakers have different rules regarding bet payout. Filters will automatically be set to only provide you arbs with matched rules for Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey and Tennis.

Matching is also performed on Boxing total lines. Note these are often changed by bookmakers so please let us know if any are wrong (as with anything else on our site). No matching is performed on any of the remaining sports; however, you should always check bet payout rules for any sport on which you wish to arb.

Whilst ArbExpert regularly reviews bookmaker rules it should be noted that bookmakers do change rules and it is recommended that you check these from time to time. Please inform us if you find any rule changes.

Currently ArbExpert allows you to adjust the filters for Tennis, Baseball and Boxing total lines. Baseball rule 2 and rule 3 are automatically set as matched during the US Major League season.

Any combination of the following rules can be matched by going to "My Filters" and clicking on "Sports rules".

Tennis
1 Retirement at any point – no action
2 Action after first ball is served
3 Action after first set complete
4 Action after second set complete

Baseball
1 No named pitchers
2 Named pitchers
3 Choice of named and no named pitchers

Boxing total lines
1 Fully completed rounds only count
2 Half completed rounds count
3 Started rounds count
4 Unknown rules

ArbExpert's Basketball and Ice Hockey arbs are matched on overtime rules. It is important to be aware that some bookmakers vary their overtime rules depending upon the type of bet. Where we are aware of different rules a warning is displayed with arbs where there may be an overtime rule mismatch.
